Happy 1st Birthday, S!

Jonny + Siobhan: Wilmore Wedding Photography

Oh dear.  Forgive me bloggy friends for being silent so long on here!  I am digging out of a backlog of projects and this little place on the internet hasn’t received much attention from me.  So I’m going to try to make up for it with one massive post.  I’ll keep the words short so you can just enjoy the photos (because that’s what I think you come here for, right?).  I’m SO excited to share these images here.  These friends are dear to my husband and I for we knew them before they were “them”.  What a joyous day was their wedding.  I think it was seriously the most fun I’ve had taking a couple’s bridal portraits.  These two just oozed happiness on their wedding day.  After all, more than 8 years of friendship and 8 months of dating, well, they had much to celebrate and we were glad to be present to document their joy.

Jonny grew up in Kenya.  He presented his groomsmen with rungus (engraved with their names) which they carried with them throughout the day.  Super cool touch.

Okay — so we had amazing sunshine all day long.  I think they  picked were blessed with the most beautiful day of the year.

Jonny and Siobhan wanted to take some photos with the horse and carriage (provided by the Asbury University equestrian center where Siobhan volunteers a lot of her time training police horses) as well as some more relaxed photos around the horse farm itself.  I was totally up for that!  Not every day I get to ride up front of a horse carriage!

I’m not going to lie.  I was pretty giddy taking the next set of images.

Thanks, Jonny and Siobhan!  We love you both and appreciate the opportunity to be a part of your wedding day!

Merry Christmas!

From my family to yours…

The “M” Family

In my last post I referenced a great little reunion we had with some friends over Thanksgiving up in the Buckeye state.  Here’s the other family that completed our reunion — the M’s — who are just some of the most thoughtful, generous people I know.  We’re blessed to have them as friends — I just wish they didn’t live so far away!
